Announcement - For A Future To Be Possible

An exciting opportunity has unexpectedly manifested, our neighbours at 2675 Bells Line of Road, Bilpin, have offered the sale of their 18 acre property to Mountain Spring Monastery. This property adjoins the monastery, and increases the forest oasis.


The property includes a 4 bedroom house, with housing for up to eight monks, a cottage for guest accommodation, a 500 square meter shed that can easily be converted, beautiful walking meditation trails, space for camping and visitor parking, on a block size of 73,180 square meters, including native bushland that backs onto the national park.


The acquisition of this property will double the size of Mountain Spring, will provide additional space for monks, and immediately provide guest accomodation for overnight stays in the monastery as well as the potential for onsite retreats!

Mountain Spring Monastery is a place to quiet the mind, look deeply, and enjoy the wonders of life within and around us through the practices of sitting meditation, walking meditation, mindful eating, deep relaxation meditation, and sharing togetherness. We invite all who wish to cultivate peace and happiness in their lives to plan a visit for a Sunday of mindfulness or for an offsite retreat.
