We are so happy you’re interested in getting involved with our work here at Mountain Spring Monastery.
There are so many ways for you to help, and we truly appreciate each and every effort.
By lending your support, you’ll become a valuable part of our Non-Profit Organization and help to strengthen our operations.

Helping The Community

Thank you for your deep kindness in helping to support this monastery for future generations here in Australia.  As you will know, at this moment in time, all of Plum Village's worldwide practice centers are unable to host retreats and days of mindfulness. The easiest and most effective way for you to support the basic operating costs of your monastic practice centers in Australia during this time is by considering joining the Plum Blossom Society as a monthly donor. Click on the 'Donate' button above to become a member of the Plum Blossom Society.

For significant gifts or for interest free loans within Australia, please use Direct Deposit. Mountain Spring Monastery bank account details are below.

For all Direct Deposits please email with details of your gift.

The Plum Blossom Society

Dana (giving) is the practice of generosity, an essential Buddhist practice that has helped ensure the continuation of mindfulness teachings for many centuries.

Your generosity will allow a child to attend a mindfulness teaching, a meditation hall to be built for Dharma sharing, and an entire community’s suffering to be transformed.

The Cedar Society

Thay teaches us that we can never die.

We are a continuous manifestation. That is why the Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation created the Cedar Society as a path for practitioners to offer stable and long-term support through legacy gifts.

Legacy giving - also known as planned giving - is done by leaving a gift to the society of your choice in your will or estate plan. A legacy gift is given after the donor’s lifetime. A legacy gift often allows people to make a larger gift than they were able to during their lifetime.

To make a Legacy Gift, you may like to include in your Will the following:

(ABN  51 780 536 385), for its general purposes and free of all duties,

(a) The whole (or x%) of the residue of my Estate; OR

(b) the sum of $ (x); OR

(c) (details of specific assets eg shares; realestate; objects),

for which an official receipt of the Plum Village Australia inc. will be a sufficient discharge for my executor.”
