Wake Up Day - The Art of Being Peace *

What does Peace mean? Instead of finding Peace from the outside, how can I cultivate Peace from within? How to be Peace?

During this special Wake Up Day, we will have a chance to contemplate and reflect on our own responses to the questions above with a refreshing and creative approach to Mindfulness Practices.

The day will commence with settling in and orientation at 9:30am.

We will then continue with periods of indoor mindful interpretive movements or outdoor bushwalking (depending weather) and immersive sitting meditation. We will also have a chance to practice mindful eating together at lunch followed by a healing session of total relaxation practice. The afternoon schedule continues with a collective art-making activity and sharing from the heart.

Our practice periods and retreat day will conclude around 4pm.

-This is an event for Wake Up age (17-36 year-old) and friends of Wake Up (the young at heart)

-Please plan to arrive at about 9:15 in order to settle in prior to start time of 9:30.

-Onsite carparking is available at 2651 Bells Line of Road (cnr of Horsfield Rd).

-Please bring a vegetarian/vegan dish to share for lunch.

-There is no cost to attend this special Wake Up Day, but it is being held in support of the expansion of Mountain Spring, and if you find this practice day beneficial and feel so moved to offer a contribution towards the expansion of facilities, then that would be most welcome.
